BLAZER DRAG (2017)

BLAZER DRAG was a game at SPORTS, a fluxus field day held at the Museum of Human Achievement in Austin, Texas. The game mimics the dominant game of fashion, which can feel like an ambiguous & discombobulating race that continually circles on itself; however, the concept of winning and losing in BLAZER DRAG is irrelevant since the rules of the game give agency to the players via self-awarded style points. Emphasis is on the idea that we all perform our identities, revealing that all dress is drag.
