Natural Person V. Legal Person (2016)

There is an effort to amend the Constitution of the United States to overturn the 2010 Citizens United v. FEC Supreme Court ruling that essentially says "legal persons" (corporations or other non-human entities) have the right of free speech. As a result of this ruling, corporations are able to freely spend unlimited amounts of money to influence elections. Meanwhile, "natural persons" - living human beings like you and me, get our political voices silenced on issues of importance.
